Weckerly's Ice Cream

Weckerly's is a Philadelphia artisan ice cream institution with a strong seasonal presence on the Cape May County shore circuit. Small-batch scoops and ice cream sandwiches are made from milk, cream, and fruit sourced from regional farms in Pennsylvania and South Jersey — goat cheese with strawberry preserves in early summer, peach with ginger snap in August, roasted beet with chocolate through winter. The cookies in each sandwich are made in-house to complement the ice cream rather than compete with it. Weckerly's runs in Wildwood and across Cape May County from late spring through early fall.
